playstation2 help please?

Im not what you call a “serious gamer” as I do not play my playstation for hours on end every day. Nor am I that skilled on alot of games. but I do love my playstation when I do feel like playing for maybe an hour or two on a boring day. Anyways…..at my Blockbuster store they are haveing a big sale on alot of used playstation2 games for 20 bucks and under and I would like to purchase a few but I need some recomendations on some good games for a novice like me. I dont mind role playing or adventure games as long as it isnt too difficult or too easy. Im not much on sports type. I already own enough racing games. Can anyone suggest some games? The only game that you’ve listed that I’ve played is Final Fantasy XII. I really enjoyed it. Since you are fairly new to gaming, I’ll include a good Game Guide link from IGN you may want to look over to familiarize yourself with the game a bit.
